Services Offered by the City of Medford

Gravel/Rock/Sand

The City offers gravel, rock, and sand for purchase, including 1/2” pea gravel, 3/4” crusher run, and crushed fines. The price is $50/scoop, and each scoop is approximately 1.5 tons. Contact City Hall at 580-395-2823 for more information.

Dumpster Use

The City offers a roll-off dumpster. The disposal fee is $35/load minimum (roughly the size of a pickup bed) or swing your load by City Hall at 615 N. Front St. in Medford and we can determine how much it will cost to offload your debris.

Brush/Limb Pile

The City has a brush pile available to its residents for FREE. It’s located 1/2 mile south of Medford on HW 81. Turn west on Haskell Rd. The brush pile is located 1/4 mile west and is on the south side of the road. Please remember that this site is only for natural vegetation: grass clippings, leaves, and trees. No whole trees are allowed. All trunks over 8" in diameter must be split in half and must be no longer than three feet. Do not dump in the roadway, outside of the fenced area, or in the gate entrance. Do not dump lumber, trash bags, boards, bricks, household trash, metal, or tires. Commercial use is prohibited unless payment is made prior to disposal. The burn pile is under video surveillance and those breaking the rules will be cited for illegal dumping. We want to keep the burn pile open but we need everyone to respect the rules and report any violations to the City of Medford.

Free Applicance / Metal Drop Off

Contact City Hall at 580-395-2823 and we can have one of our employees meet you at the city yard to drop off your unwanted metal and appliances.

Bulk Water Sales

We have a self-serve coin operated water dispenser located in the back alley behind the Civic Center at 123 S. Main St.

Each load of water is $50.
